Having reached a consensus that there were too many vodkas on the market, the conversation then turned to the question of how many should a bar carry. "Personally I don't believe that there should be more than 7 or 8 vodkas" Tony Ferber of Walter's Bar noted. "But as an owner of a bar, demand is a must. We have about 20 to 25 different vodkas because people ask for them. You never want to say, 'No, we don't have that here.' It's a very bad first impression."
